Introduction
This webpage is for a person who is (desperately) trying to finish her Master’s Degree and especially - to write a thesis.
Ellu is studying language technology at the Helsinki University and proud of it.
But as the time passes, so the skills are somewhat forgotten if not used enough…that’s one of the challenge. And many more so please check this site out!

Projects
1) Setting up a GitHub repo
In this project Ellu learned how to set up a repository in the GitHub and perform various tasks in the repo. It included:
- creating a repo in GitHub,
- cloning it to the local computer,
- adding content with git add, commit and push and
- making changes to the source code.
2) Building an NLP application “Commercial email finder”
In this project Ellu learned basics how to create an NLP application and to use the GitHub via PyCharm. It included:
- planning, tracking and following up (issues in GitHub),
- doing documentation (README, comments),
- working in a team,
- using GitHub, PyCharm, Flask,
- making implementation (code, architecture).
